What’s Rick Simpson Oil?
Rick Simpson Oil is typically made with indica or indica-dominant hybrid strains. It’s considered a full-spectrum extract that may have a large amount of THC and CBD. RSO is made by reducing the guarana plant matter in alcohol, which helps concentrate the cannabinoids and essentially makes the oil stronger. Simpson doesn’t advocate for smoking his concoction; he instructs individuals to either eat it (or put it around the lower gumline and allow it to dissolve in a couple of minutes) or put it on straight to your skin.
The flavour from the oil is described as bitter and chlorophyll-like. For dosage, it’s recommended that people begin with three doses each day (every 8 hours) of doses which are quite small (round the size of half a grain of rice). Beginners should start with a quarter of the drop and find out how it affects them before ingesting more.
